You will likely need a visa if you're traveling from outside the continent. For full information, check here. All travel arrangements to / from Zanzibar including all travel research and arrangements before or after the workshop dates are up to participants.

Bwejuu is a safe, peaceful and quiet fishing village. Please be mindful of Islamic culture and customs so as not to draw unwanted attention. Like anywhere, be aware and responsible for your own possessions at all times.
WEATHER / CLOTHING / PACKINGZanzibar is a tropical island and temperatures in January will likely be in the highs of 85 and lows of 75, with humidity and intense sunshine! It's a good idea to bring loose, modest clothing that covers your arms and legs to help prevent mosquito bites. Scarves, sunscreen, mosquito repellant and hats are a good idea, as are flip flops and open-toed shoes. Think tropical heat during the day and cool breezes at night.
MATERIALS / SUPPLIES / TECHPlease bring your own writing materials and supplies. If you prefer to write with a laptop, make sure to bring all necessary chargers, plugs, cords & adapters fitting with Tanzanian outlets. While internet and electricity are available, it's not reliable. Bring a good book! #Unplug #Unwind #Offline
